• Dr. John Spence, the Richard Snell Professor of Physics and Regents Professor at Arizona State University and director of science for the NSF BioXFEL Science and Technology Center on the application of X-Ray Free-electron lasers to structural biology.

• Dr. Maximilian Haider, honorary professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology; co-founder, senior advisor and former president of Corrected Electron Optical Systems GmbH.

• Dr. Teng-Leong Chew, Director of the Advanced Imaging Center at Janelia Research Campus, Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Ashburn, Virginia.
